الَّذِينَ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ
الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا عَلَى الآخِرَةِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ
وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجاً أُوْلَـئِكَ فِي ضَلاَلٍ بَعِيدٍ

ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ اسْتَحَبُّواْ الْحَيَاةَ الْدُّنْيَا عَلَى الآخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْكَافِرِينَ
Thalika biannahumu istahabboo alhayata alddunya AAala alakhirati waanna Allaha la yahdee alqawma alkafireena

Waɗancan ne kãfirai dõmin sun fĩfĩta son dũniya a kan Lãhira, kuma lalle ne Allah bã Ya shiryar da mutãne kãfirai.
This because they love the life of this world better than the Hereafter: and Allah will not guide those who reject Faith.
This is because they love this world's life more than the hereafter, and because Allah does not guide the unbelieving people.
That is because they have chosen the life of the world rather than the Hereafter, and because Allah guideth not the disbelieving folk.
Asbabu n-Nuzuul (Occasions of Revelation)
ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ اسْتَحَبُّواْ الْحَيَاةَ الْدُّنْيَا عَلَى الآخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْكَافِرِينَ ﴿١٠٧﴾
That is because they preferred the life of this world over that of the Hereafter. And Allah does not guide the people who disbelieve.
They will suffer severe punishment in the Hereafter, because they preferred this life to the Hereafter, and they left the faith for the sake of this world and Allah did not guide their hearts and help them to stand firm in the true religion.
لأنهم استحبوا الحياة الدنيا على الآخرة فأقدموا على ما أقدموا عليه من الردة لأجل الدنيا ولم يهد الله قلوبهم ويثبتهم على الدين الحق .
"ذلك" الوعيد لهم "بأنهم استحبوا الحياة الدنيا" اختاروها
أي ذلك الغضب .
I'raab - grammatical analysis of the Qur'an
«ذلِكَ» ذا اسم إشارة في محل رفع مبتدأ واللام للبعد والكاف للخطاب والجملة مستأنفة.
«بِأَنَّهُمُ» الباء حرف جر وأن وما بعدها في تأويل مصدر في محل جر متعلقان بالخبر المحذوف والهاء في محل نصب اسم إن والميم للجمع.
«اسْتَحَبُّوا» ماض وفاعله والجملة خبر إن.
«الْحَياةَ» مفعول به.
«الدُّنْيا» صفة.
«عَلَى الْآخِرَةِ» متعلقان باستحبوا.
«وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ» الواو عاطفة وأن ولفظ الجلالة اسمها والجملة معطوفة.
«لا يَهْدِي» لا نافية ومضارع مرفوع بالضمة المقدرة على الياء للثقل.
«الْقَوْمَ» مفعول به.
«الْكافِرِينَ» صفة.
