الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُواْ دِينَهُمْ لَهْواً وَلَعِباً
وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا فَالْيَوْمَ نَنسَاهُمْ كَمَا نَسُواْ
لِقَاء يَوْمِهِمْ هَـذَا وَمَا كَانُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ

قَالَ كَذَلِكَ أَتَتْكَ آيَاتُنَا فَنَسِيتَهَا وَكَذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ تُنسَى

Ya ce: "Kamar wancan ne ãyõyinMu suka jħ maka sai ka mance su, kuma kamar hakar a yau ake mance ka."
(Allah) will say: "Thus didst Thou, when Our Signs came unto thee, disregard them: so wilt thou, this day, be disregarded."
He will say: Even so, Our communications came to you but you neglected them; even thus shall you be forsaken this day.
He will say: So (it must be). Our revelations came unto thee but thou didst forget them. In like manner thou art forgotten this Day.
Asbabu n-Nuzuul (Occasions of Revelation)
قَالَ كَذَلِكَ أَتَتْكَ آيَاتُنَا فَنَسِيتَهَا وَكَذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ تُنسَى ﴿١٢٦﴾
(Allah) will say: "Like this Our Ayat came unto you, but you disregarded them, and so this Day, you will be neglected.
Meaning, "When you turned away from the signs of Allah and dealt with them in the manner of one who does not remember them after they were conveyed to you. You neglected them, turned away from them and were heedless of them. Therefore, today We will treat you in the manner of one who has forgotten you.''
فَالْيَوْمَ نَنسَـهُمْ كَمَا نَسُواْ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِهِمْ هَـذَا
So this Day We shall forget them as they forgot their meeting of this Day. (7:51)
For verily, the punishment will be a retribution that is based upon the type of deed that was done. However, forgetting the words of the Qur'an, while understanding its meaning and acting upon its legislation, is not included in the meaning of this specific threat. Yet, forgetting the words of the Qur'an has been warned against from a different aspect. It has been reported in the Sunnah that it is absolutely forbidden and there is a serious threat against one who forgets Qur'an (that he previously memorized).
" قال كذلك أتتك آياتنا فنسيتها وكذلك اليوم تنسى " أي لما أعرضت عن آيات الله وعاملتها معاملة من لم يذكرها بعد بلاغها إليك تناسيتها وأعرضت عنها وأغفلتها كذلك اليوم نعاملك معاملة من ينساك " فاليوم ننساهم كما نسوا لقاء يومهم هذا " فإن الجزاء من جنس العمل . فأما نسيان لفظ القرآن مع فهم معناه والقيام بمقتضاه فليس داخلا في هذا الوعيد الخاص وإن كان متوعدا عليه من جهة أخرى قاله قد وردت السنة بالنهي الأكيد والوعيد الشديد في ذلك قال الإمام أحمد حدثنا خلف بن الوليد حدثنا خالد عن يزيد بن أبي زياد عن عيسى بن فائد عن رجل عن سعيد بن عبادة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : " ما من رجل قرأ القرآن فنسيه إلا لقي الله يوم يلقاه وهو أجذم " ثم رواه الإمام أحمد من حديث يزيد بن أبي زياد عن عيسى بن فائد عن عبادة بن الصامت عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فذكر مثله سواء .
"قال" الأمر "كذلك أتتك آيتنا فنسيتها" تركتها ولم تؤمن بها "وكذلك" مثل نسيانك آياتنا "اليوم تنسى" تترك في النار
أي قال الله تعالى له " كذلك أتتك آياتنا " أي دلالاتنا على وحدانيتنا وقدرتنا .

«قالَ» الجملة استئنافية «كَذلِكَ» الكاف حرف تشبيه وجر وذا اسم إشارة في محل جر بالكاف واللام للبعد والكاف للخطاب متعلقان بمحذوف خبر لمبتدأ محذوف تقديره الأمر كذلك «أَتَتْكَ» ماض والكاف مفعول به «آياتُنا» فاعل ونا مضاف إليه «فَنَسِيتَها» الفاء عاطفة وماض وفاعل ومفعول به والجملة معطوفة «وَكَذلِكَ» الواو عاطفة والكاف حرف تشبيه وجر وذا اسم إشارة مجرور متعلقان بمحذوف صفة لمفعول مطلق «الْيَوْمَ» ظرف زمان «تُنْسى » مضارع مبني للمجهول ونائب فاعله مستتر والجملة في محل جر مضاف إليه
