فَإِن يَصْبِرُوا فَالنَّارُ مَثْوًى لَّهُمْ وَإِن
يَسْتَعْتِبُوا فَمَا هُم مِّنَ الْمُعْتَبِينَ

فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يَنفَعُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ

Hausa Translation
To, a rãnar da uzurin waɗanda suka yi zãlunci bã ya amfaninsu, kuma bã a neman yardarsu.
So on that Day no excuse of theirs will avail the transgressors, nor will they be invited (then) to seek grace (by repentance).
But on that day their excuse shall not profit those who were unjust, nor shall they be regarded with goodwill.
In that day their excuses will not profit those who did injustice, nor will they be allowed to make amends.
Asbabu n-Nuzuul (Occasions of Revelation)
Allah says:
فَيَوْمَئِذٍ ...
So, on that Day,
meaning, the Day of Resurrection,
... لَّا يَنفَعُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ ...
no excuse of theirs will avail those who did wrong,
means, their excuses for what they did.
... وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ ﴿٥٧﴾
nor will they be allowed (then) to return to seek (Allah's) pleasure.
means, they will not be allowed to return to this world.
This is like the Ayah,
وَإِن يَسْتَعْتِبُواْ فَمَا هُم مِّنَ الْمُعْتَبِينَ
and if they seek to please (Allah), yet they are not of those who will ever be allowed to please (Allah). (41:24)
قال الله تعالى " فيومئذ " أي يوم القيامة " لا ينفع الذين ظلموا معذرتهم " أي اعتذارهم عما فعلوا " ولا هم يستعتبون " أي ولا هم يرجعون إلى الدنيا كما قال تعالى " وإن يستعتبوا فما هم من المعتبين " .
"فيومئذ لا ينفع" بالياء والتاء "الذين ظلموا معذرتهم" في إنكارهم له "ولا هم يستعتبون" لا يطلب منهم العتبى : أي الرجوع إلى ما يرضي الله
أي لا ينفعهم العلم بالقيامة ولا الاعتذار يومئذ . وقيل : لما رد عليهم المؤمنون سألوا الرجوع إلى الدنيا واعتذروا فلم يعذروا .

«فَيَوْمَئِذٍ» الفاء حرف عطف «يومئذ» ظرف زمان مضاف إلى مثله «لا يَنْفَعُ» نافية ومضارع مرفوع «الَّذِينَ» مفعول به والجملة معطوفة على جملة لقد لبثتم .. «ظَلَمُوا» ماض وفاعله والجملة صلة الذين «مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ» فاعل ينفع «وَ» الواو حرف عطف «لا» نافية «هُمْ» مبتدأ «يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ» مضارع مبني للمجهول والواو نائب فاعل والجملة الفعلية خبر المبتدأ والجملة الاسمية معطوفة على ما قبلها
