وَكَتَبْنَا
لَهُ فِي الأَلْوَاحِ مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَّوْعِظَةً وَتَفْصِيلاً لِّكُلِّ
شَيْءٍ فَخُذْهَا بِقُوَّةٍ وَأْمُرْ قَوْمَكَ يَأْخُذُواْ بِأَحْسَنِهَا سَأُرِيكُمْ
دَارَ الْفَاسِقِينَ

الَّذِينَ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقَوْلَ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ أَحْسَنَهُ أُوْلَئِكَ الَّذِينَ هَدَاهُمُ اللَّهُ وَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمْ أُوْلُوا الْأَلْبَابِ
Allatheena yastamiAAoona alqawla fayattabiAAoona ahsanahu olaika allatheena hadahumu Allahu waolaika hum oloo alalbabi

Waɗanda ke sauraren(1) magana, sa´an nan su bi mafi kyaunta. waɗancan sũ ne Allah Ya shiryar da su, kuma waɗancan su ne mãsu hankali,
Those who listen to the Word, and follow the best (meaning) in it: those are the ones whom Allah has guided, and those are the ones endued with understanding.
Those who listen to the word, then follow the best of it; those are they whom Allah has guided, and those it is who are the men of understanding.
Who hear advice and follow the best thereof. Such are those whom Allah guideth, and such are men of understanding.

Good News for the Righteous
Abdur-Rahman bin Zayd bin Aslam said, narrating from his father:
وَالَّذِينَ اجْتَنَبُوا الطَّاغُوتَ أَن يَعْبُدُوهَا ...
Those who avoid At-Taghut by not worshipping them,
was revealed concerning Zayd bin `Amr bin Nufayl and Abu Dharr and Salman Al-Farisi, may Allah be pleased with them.
The correct view is that it includes them and all others who avoided worshipping idols and turned to the worship of Ar-Rahman. These are the people for whom there is good news in this world and in the Hereafter.
... وَأَنَابُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَى ...
and turn to Allah, for them are glad tidings;
Then Allah says:
... فَبَشِّرْ عِبَادِ ﴿١٧﴾
الَّذِينَ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقَوْلَ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ أَحْسَنَهُ ...
so announce the good news to My servants -- those who listen to the Word and follow the best thereof,
meaning, those who understand it and act in accordance with it.
This is like the Words of Allah, may He be exalted, to Musa, peace be upon him, when He gave him the Tawrah:
فَخُذْهَا بِقُوَّةٍ وَأْمُرْ قَوْمَكَ يَأْخُذُواْ بِأَحْسَنِهَا
Hold unto these with firmness, and enjoin your people to take the better therein, (7:145)
... أُوْلَئِكَ الَّذِينَ هَدَاهُمُ اللَّهُ ...
those are whom Allah has guided,
means, those who are described in this manner are the ones whom Allah has guided in this world and the Hereafter.
... وَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمْ أُوْلُوا الْأَلْبَابِ ﴿١٨﴾
and those are men of understanding.
means, they possess sound reasoning and an upright nature.
ثم قال عز وجل " فبشر عباد الذين يستمعون القول فيتبعون أحسنه " أي يفهمونه ويعملون بما فيه كقوله تبارك وتعالى لموسى عليه الصلاة والسلام حين آتاه التوراة " فخذها بقوة وأمر قومك يأخذوا بأحسنها " " أولئك الذين هداهم الله " أي المتصفون بهذه الصفة هم الذين هداهم الله في الدنيا والآخرة " وأولئك هم أولوا الألباب " أي ذوو العقول الصحيحة والفطر المستقيمة .
"الذين يستمعون القول فيتبعون أحسنه" وهو ما فيه صلاحهم "أولئك الذين هداهم الله وأولئك هم أولو الألباب" أصحاب العقول
قال ابن عباس : هو الرجل يسمع الحسن والقبيح فيتحدث بالحسن وينكف عن القبيح فلا يتحدث به . وقيل : يستمعون القرآن وغيره فيتبعون القرآن . وقيل : يستمعون القرآن وأقوال الرسول فيتبعون أحسنه أي محكمه فيعملون به . وقيل : يستمعون عزما وترخيصا فيأخذون بالعزم دون الترخيص . وقيل : يستمعون العقوبة الواجبة لهم والعفو فيأخذون بالعفو . وقيل : إن أحسن القول على من جعل الآية فيمن وحد الله قبل الإسلام " لا إله إلا الله " . وقال عبد الرحمن بن زيد : نزلت في زيد بن عمرو بن نفيل وأبي ذر الغفاري وسلمان الفارسي , اجتنبوا الطاغوت أن يعبدوها في جاهليتهم , واتبعوا أحسن ما صار من القول إليهم .

«الَّذِينَ» صفة عباد «يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقَوْلَ» مضارع مرفوع بثبوت النون والواو فاعله والقول مفعوله والجملة صلة «فَيَتَّبِعُونَ» الفاء حرف عطف ومضارع مرفوع وفاعله والجملة معطوفة على ما قبلها لا محل لها «أَحْسَنَهُ» مفعول به «أُولئِكَ الَّذِينَ» مبتدأ وخبره «هَداهُمُ اللَّهُ» ماض ومفعوله ولفظ الجلالة فاعله والجملة صلة الذين «وَأُولئِكَ» الواو حرف عطف ومبتدأ «هُمْ» ضمير فصل «أُولُوا» خبر المبتدأ مرفوع بالواو «الْأَلْبابِ» مضاف إليه والجملة معطوفة على ما قبلها لا محل لها
