أُولَـئِكَ لَمْ يَكُونُواْ مُعْجِزِينَ فِي الأَرْضِ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّن
دُونِ اللّهِ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاء يُضَاعَفُ لَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مَا كَانُواْ يَسْتَطِيعُونَ
السَّمْعَ وَمَا كَانُواْ يُبْصِرُونَ

وَمَا أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
Wama antum bimuAAjizeena fee alardi wama lakum min dooni Allahi min waliyyin wala naseerin

Kuma ba ku zama mãsu buwãya ba a cikin ƙasa kuma bã ku da wani majiɓinci, wanin Allah, kuma bã ku da wani mataimaki.
Nor can ye frustrate (aught), (fleeing) through the earth; nor have ye, besides Allah, any one to protect or to help.
And you cannot escape in the earth, and you shall not have a guardian or a helper besides Allah.
Ye cannot escape in the earth, for beside Allah ye have no protecting friend nor any helper.
Asbabu n-Nuzuul (Occasions of Revelation)
وَمَا أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ ﴿٣١﴾
And you cannot escape from Allah in the earth, and besides Allah you have neither any protector nor any helper.

«وَما» حرف عطف وما نافية تعمل عمل ليس «أَنْتُمْ» اسمها «بِمُعْجِزِينَ» الباء حرف جر زائد ومجرور لفظا منصوب محلا خبر ما «فِي الْأَرْضِ» متعلقان بمعجزين والجملة معطوفة على ما قبلها «وَما» الواو حرف عطف وما نافية «لَكُمْ» جار ومجرور خبر مقدم «مِنْ دُونِ» متعلقان بمحذوف حال «اللَّهِ» لفظ الجلالة مضاف إليه «مِنْ» حرف جر زائد «وَلِيٍّ» مجرور لفظا مرفوع محلا مبتدأ «وَلا نَصِيرٍ» معطوف على من ولي والجملة الاسمية معطوفة على ما قبلها
