وَكَذَلِكَ مَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِي قَرْيَةٍ مِّن نَّذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتْرَفُوهَا إِنَّا وَجَدْنَا آبَاءنَا عَلَى أُمَّةٍ وَإِنَّا عَلَى آثَارِهِم مُّقْتَدُونَ
Wakathalika ma arsalna min qablika fee qaryatin min natheerin illa qala mutrafooha inna wajadna abaana AAala ommatin wainna AAala atharihim muqtadoona

Kuma kamar haka, ba Mu aika wani mai gargaɗi ba a gabãninka, a cikin wata alƙarya, fãce mani´imtanta sun ce, "Lalle mũ, mun sãmi ubanninmu a kan wani addini kuma lalle mũ, mãsu kõyi nea kan gurãbunsu."
Just in the same way, whenever We sent a Warner before thee to any people, the wealthy ones among them said: "We found our fathers following a certain religion, and we will certainly follow in their footsteps."
And thus, We did not send before you any warner in a town, but those who led easy lives in it said: Surely we found our fathers on a course, and surely we are followers of their footsteps.
And even so We sent not a warner before thee (Muhammad) into any township but its luxurious ones said: Lo! we found our fathers following a religion, and we are following their footprints.

And Allah says here:
وَكَذَلِكَ مَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِي قَرْيَةٍ مِّن نَّذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتْرَفُوهَا إِنَّا وَجَدْنَا آبَاءنَا عَلَى أُمَّةٍ وَإِنَّا عَلَى آثَارِهِم مُّقْتَدُونَ ﴿٢٣﴾
And similarly, We sent not a warner before you to any town (people) but the luxurious ones among them said:
"We found our fathers following a certain way and religion, and we will indeed follow their footsteps.''

«وَكَذلِكَ» الواو حرف استئناف وجار ومجرور متعلقان بمحذوف صفة لمفعول مطلق محذوف «ما» نافية «أَرْسَلْنا» ماض وفاعله والجملة مستأنفة «مِنْ قَبْلِكَ» متعلقان بالفعل «فِي قَرْيَةٍ» متعلقان بمحذوف حال «مِنْ» حرف جر زائد «نَذِيرٍ» مجرور لفظا منصوب محلا مفعول به «إِلَّا» حرف حصر «قالَ» ماض «مُتْرَفُوها» فاعل مرفوع بالواو وحذفت النون للإضافة والجملة حالية مستثناة من عموم الأحوال «إِنَّا وَجَدْنا آباءَنا عَلى أُمَّةٍ وَإِنَّا عَلى آثارِهِمْ مُقْتَدُونَ» سبق إعرابه
