وَهُوَ الَّذِي
سَخَّرَ الْبَحْرَ لِتَأْكُلُواْ مِنْهُ لَحْماً طَرِيّاً وَتَسْتَخْرِجُواْ
مِنْهُ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ
وَلِتَبْتَغُواْ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

اللَّهُ الَّذِي سخَّرَ لَكُمُ الْبَحْرَ لِتَجْرِيَ الْفُلْكُ فِيهِ بِأَمْرِهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
Allahu allathee sakhkhara lakumu albahra litajriya alfulku feehi biamrihi walitabtaghoo min fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroona

Allah ne wanda Ya hõre muku tħku dõmin jirgi ya gudãna a cikinta da umurninSa, kuma dõmin ku nħma daga falalarSa, kuma tsammãninku zã ku gõde.
It is Allah Who has subjected the sea to you, that ships may sail through it by His command, that ye may seek of his Bounty, and that ye may be grateful.
Allah is He Who made subservient to you the sea that the ships may run therein by His command, and that you may seek of His grace, and that you may give thanks.
Allah it is Who hath made the sea of service unto you that the ships may run thereon by His command, and that ye may seek of His bounty, and that haply ye may be thankful;

The Subjugation of the Sea, etc., is among Allah's Signs
Allah the Exalted says,
اللَّهُ الَّذِي سخَّرَ لَكُمُ الْبَحْرَ ...
Allah, it is He Who has subjected to you the sea,
Allah the Exalted mentions some of the favors He gave to His servants, such as subjecting the sea for their service,
... لِتَجْرِيَ الْفُلْكُ فِيهِ بِأَمْرِهِ ...
that ships may sail through the sea by His command,
i.e., of Allah the Exalted, Who ordered the sea to carry ships,
... وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ ...
and that you may seek of His bounty,
i.e. in commercial and business transactions,
... وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ ﴿١٢﴾
and that you may be thankful.
i.e. for earning various provisions brought to you from far away provinces and distant areas through the sea.
يذكر تعالى نعمه على عبيده فيما سخر لهم من البحر لتجري الفلك وهي السفن فيه بأمره تعالى فإنه هو الذي أمر البحر بحملها ولتبتغوا من فضله أي في المتاجر والمكاسب ولعلكم تشكرون أي على حصول المنافع المجلوبة إليكم من الأقاليم النائية والآفاق القاصية .
"الله الذي سخر لكم البحر لتجري الفلك" السفن "فيه بأمره" بإذنه "ولتبتغوا" تطلبوا بالتجارة
إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يتفكرون " ذكر كمال قدرته وتمام نعمته على عباده , وبين أنه خلق ما خلق لمنافعهم .

«اللَّهُ الَّذِي» لفظ الجلالة مبتدأ والذي خبره والجملة مستأنفة «سَخَّرَ» ماض فاعله مستتر «لَكُمُ» متعلقان بالفعل «الْبَحْرَ» مفعول به والجملة صلة «لِتَجْرِيَ» مضارع منصوب بأن مضمرة بعد لام التعليل «الْفُلْكُ» فاعله والمصدر المؤول من أن وما بعدها في محل جر باللام والجار والمجرور متعلقان بالفعل سخر «فِيهِ» متعلقان بتجري «بِأَمْرِهِ» متعلقان بتجري «وَلِتَبْتَغُوا» معطوف على لتجري «مِنْ فَضْلِهِ» متعلقان بالفعل «وَلَعَلَّكُمْ» الواو حرف عطف ولعل واسمها «تَشْكُرُونَ» مضارع مرفوع والواو فاعله والجملة خبر لعل والجملة الاسمية لعلكم معطوفة على ما قبلها
