Kuma lalle ne, haƙĩƙa, Mun halitta sammai da ƙasã da abin da ke a tsakãninsu, a cikin kwãnaki shida, alhãli wata´yar wahala ba ta shãfe Mu ba.
We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in Six Days, nor did any sense of weariness touch Us.
And certainly We created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six periods and there touched Us not any fatigue.
And verily We created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in six Days, and naught of weariness touched Us.
Asbabu n-Nuzuul (Occasions of Revelation)
(And verily We created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in six Days, and naught of weariness touched Us) [50:38]. Al-Hasan and Qatadah said: ﾓThe Jews said: Allah created the creation in six days and rested on the seventh, Saturdayﾒ, which they call the Sabbath, and so Allah, exalted is He, revealed this verseﾔ. Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Tamimi informed us> Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Jafar al-Hafiz> Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn al-Hasan> Hannad ibn al-Sari> Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash> Abu Sad al-Baqqal> Ikrimah> Ibn Abbas who said: ﾓThe Jews came to the Prophet, Allah bless him and give him peace, and asked him about the creation of the heavens and earth. He said to them: Allah created the earth on Sunday and Monday; He created the mountains [and what they contain of benefits] on Tuesday; He created the trees and water on Wednesday; He created heaven on Thursday; on Friday, He created the stars, sun and moonﾒ. And what after that, O Muhammad?ﾒ the Jews asked. He said: Then, He established Himself on the Throneﾒ. They said: You would have answered correctly, if you added: and then He restedﾒ.
The Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and give him peace, was furious. This verse was then revealed (And verily We created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in six Days, and naught of weariness touched Us. Therefor (O Muhammad) bear with what they say) [50:38-39]ﾔ.
The statement of Allah the Exalted and Most Honored;
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِن لُّغُوبٍ ﴿٣٨﴾
And indeed We created the heavens and the earth and all that between them in six Days and nothing of fatigue touched Us.
is emphasis on the Resurrection because He Who is able to create the heavens and earth without fatigue, then surely He is able to resurrect the dead.
Qatadah said,
"The Jews, may Allah's curses descend on them, said that Allah created the heavens and earth in six days and then rested on the seventh day, which was the Sabbath. This is why they call it a holiday. Allah the Exalted then sent down denial of their statement and false opinion.''
Allah said, وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِن لُّغُوبٍ (and nothing of fatigue touched Us).
indicating that no sleep, exhaustion or weariness affects Him. Allah the Exalted the Blessed said in other Ayat,
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْاْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ الَّذِى خَلَقَ السَّمَـوَتِ وَالاٌّرْضِ وَلَمْ يَعْىَ بِخَلْقِهِنَّ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَى أَن يُحْىِ الْمَوْتَى بَلَى إِنَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Do they not see that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and was not wearied by their creation, is able to give life to the dead? Yes, He surely is Able to do all things. (46:33)
and,
لَخَلْقُ السَّمَـوَتِ وَالاٌّرْضِ أَكْـبَرُ مِنْ خَلْقِ النَّاسِ
The creation of the heavens and the earth is indeed greater than the creation of mankind. (40:57)
and,
أَءَنتُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقاً أَمِ السَّمَآءُ بَنَـهَا
Are you more difficult to create or is the heaven that He constructed? (79:27)
" فيه تقرير للمعاد لأن من قدر على خلق السماوات والأرض ولم يعي بخلقهن قادر على أن يحيي الموتى بطريق الأولى والأحرى وقال قتادة قالت اليهود - عليهم لعائن الله - خلق الله السماوات والأرض في ستة أيام ثم استراح في اليوم السابع وهو يوم السبت وهم يسمونه يوم الراحة فأنزل الله تعالى تكذيبهم فيما قالوه وتأولوه " وما مسنا من لغوب " أي من إعياء ولا تعب ولا نصب كما قال تبارك وتعالى في الآية الأخرى " أولم يروا أن الله الذي خلق السماوات والأرض ولم يعي بخلقهن قادر على أن يحيي الموتى بلى إنه على كل شيء قدير " وكما قال عز وجل " لخلق السماوات والأرض أكبر من خلق الناس " وقال تعالى " أأنتم أشد خلقا أم السماء بناها " .
"ولقد خلقنا السماوات والأرض وما بينهما في ستة أيام" أولها الأحد وآخرها الجمعة "وما مسنا من لغوب" تعب نزل ردا على اليهود في قولهم : إن الله استراح يوم السبت وانتفاء التعب عنه لتنزهه تعالى عن صفات المخلوقين ولعدم المماسة بينه وبين غيره "إنما أمره إذا أراد شيئا أن يقول له كن فيكون"
أصل " ستة " سدسة , فأرادوا إدغام الدال في السين فالتقيا عند مخرج التاء فغلبت عليهما . وإن شئت قلت : أبدل من إحدى السينين تاء وأدغم في الدال ; لأنك تقول في تصغيرها : سديسة , وفي الجمع أسداس , والجمع والتصغير يردان الأسماء إلى أصولها . ويقولون : جاء فلان سادسا وسادتا وساتا ; فمن قال : سادتا أبدل من السين تاء . واليوم : من طلوع الشمس إلى غروبها . فإن لم يكن شمس فلا يوم ; قاله القشيري . وقال : ومعنى ( في ستة أيام ) أي من أيام الآخرة , كل يوم ألف سنة ; لتفخيم خلق السماوات والأرض . وقيل : من أيام الدنيا . قال مجاهد وغيره : أولها الأحد وآخرها الجمعة . وذكر هذه المدة ولو أراد خلقها في لحظة لفعل ; إذ هو القادر على أن يقول لها كوني فتكون ; ولكنه أراد أن يعلم العباد الرفق والتثبت في الأمور , ولتظهر قدرته للملائكة شيئا بعد شيء . وهذا عند من يقول : خلق الملائكة قبل خلق السماوات والأرض . وحكمة أخرى خلقها في ستة أيام لأن لكل شيء عنده أجلا . وبين بهذا ترك معاجلة العصاة بالعقاب ; لأن لكل شيء عنده أجلا .

«وَلَقَدْ» الواو حرف قسم وجر واللام واقعة في جواب القسم وقد حرف تحقيق.
«خَلَقْنَا» ماض وفاعله.
«السَّماواتِ» مفعوله.
«وَالْأَرْضَ» معطوف على ما سبق والجملة جواب القسم لا محل لها.
«وَما» الواو حرف عطف وما معطوفة على ما قبلها.
«بَيْنَهُما» ظرف مكان.
«فِي سِتَّةِ» متعلقان بخلقنا.
«أَيَّامٍ» مضاف إليه.
«وَما» الواو حالية وما نافية.
«مَسَّنا» ماض ومفعوله.
«مِنْ لُغُوبٍ» من حرف جر زائد ومجرور لفظا مرفوع محلا فاعل مسنا والجملة حالية.
