وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا أُوْلَئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ

Waallatheena kafaroo wakaththaboo biayatina olaika ashabu alnnari khalideena feeha wabisa almaseeru

Hausa Translation

Kuma waɗanda suka kãfirta, kuma suka ƙaryata game da ayõyinMu, waɗannan sũne´yan wuta, sunã madawwama a cikinta. Kuma tir da makõma, ita.

But those who reject Faith and treat Our Signs as falsehoods, they will be Companions of the Fire, to dwell therein for aye: and evil is that Goal.
And (as for) those who disbelieve and reject Our communications, they are the inmates of the fire, to abide therein and evil is the resort.
But those who disbelieve and deny Our revelations, such are owners of the Fire; they will abide therein - a hapless journey's end!

Asbabu n-Nuzuul (Occasions of Revelation)

The Day of At-Taghabun

Allah said,

يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُكُمْ لِيَوْمِ الْجَمْعِ ...

The Day when He will gather you on the Day of Gathering,

meaning the Day of Resurrection. This is the Day when the earlier and later generations will all be gathered in one area, a caller would be heard by them all, and one's vision would easily see them all.

Allah said,

ذلِكَ يَوْمٌ مَّجْمُوعٌ لَّهُ النَّاسُ وَذَلِكَ يَوْمٌ مَّشْهُودٌ

That is the Day whereon mankind will be gathered together, that is a Day when all will be present. (11:103)

and,

قُلْ إِنَّ الاٌّوَّلِينَ وَالاٌّخِرِينَ

لَمَجْمُوعُونَ إِلَى مِيقَـتِ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُومٍ

Say:

"(Yes) verily, those of old, and those of later times. All will surely be gathered together for appointed meeting of a known Day.'' (56:49-50)

Allah's statement,

... ذَلِكَ يَوْمُ التَّغَابُنِ ...

that will be the Day of At-Taghabun.

Ibn `Abbas said,

"It is one of the names of the Day of Judgement, and that is because the people of Paradise will have gained over the people of the Fire.''

Qatadah and Mujahid said similarly.

Muqatil bin Hayyan said,

"There is no mutual loss and gain greater than these entering Paradise and those being taken to the Fire.''

Allah explained His statement saying;

... وَمَن يُؤْمِن بِاللَّهِ وَيَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِ وَيُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ ﴿٩﴾

وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا أُوْلَئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ ﴿١٠﴾

And whosoever believes in Allah and performs righteous deeds, He will expiate from him his sins, and will admit him to Gardens beneath which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever; that will be the great success.

But those who disbelieved and denied Our Ayat, they will be the dwellers of the Fire, to dwell therein forever. And worst indeed is that destination.

قلت وقد فسر ذلك بقوله تعالى " ومن يؤمن بالله ويعمل صالحا يكفر عنه سيئاته ويدخله جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها أبدا ذلك الفوز العظيم والذين كفروا وكذبوا بآياتنا أولئك أصحاب النار خالدين فيها وبئس المصير " وقد تقدم تفسير مثل هذه غير مرة .

"والذين كفروا وكذبوا بآياتنا" القرآن "أولئك أصحاب النار خالدين فيها وبئس المصير" هي

يعني القرآن

I'raab - grammatical analysis of the Qur'an

«وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا» الواو حرف عطف واسم الموصول مبتدأ و«كَفَرُوا» ماض وفاعله والجملة صلة الذين «وَكَذَّبُوا» معطوف على كفروا «بِآياتِنا» متعلقان بالفعل «أُولئِكَ أَصْحابُ» مبتدأ وخبره والجملة الاسمية خبر الذين وجملة الذين .. معطوفة على ما قبلها «النَّارِ» مضاف إليه «خالِدِينَ» حال «فِيها» متعلقان بخالدين «وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ» ماض جامد وفاعله والجملة استئنافية لا محل لها.

وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هَـَذَا بَلَداً آمِناً وَارْزُقْ أَهْلَهُ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ مَنْ آمَنَ مِنْهُم بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ قَالَ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَأُمَتِّعُهُ قَلِيلاً ثُمَّ أَضْطَرُّهُ إِلَى عَذَابِ النَّارِ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ
