"Cewa ku bauta wa Allah, ku ji tsõronSa, kuma ku bĩ ni."
Asbabu n-Nuzuul (Occasions of Revelation)
أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاتَّقُوهُ ...
That you should worship Allah, and have Taqwa of Him,
meaning, `abandon those things that He has forbidden and avoid that which He has declared to be sinful.'
... وَأَطِيعُونِ ﴿٣﴾
and obey me,
`In that which I command you to do and that which I forbid you from.'
أي اتركوا محارمه واجتنبوا مآثمه " وأطيعون " فيما آمركم به وأنهاكم عنه .
"أن" أي بأن أقول لكم
و " أن " المفسرة على ما تقدم في " أن أنذر " . " اعبدوا " أي وحدوا . واتقوا : خافوا .

«أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ» أن حرف تفسير وأمر وفاعله ولفظ الجلالة مفعوله والجملة مفسرة لا محل لها «وَاتَّقُوهُ وَأَطِيعُونِ» معطوفان على اعبدوا.
