Asbabu n-Nuzuul (Occasions of Revelation)
فِي جَنَّاتٍ يَتَسَاءلُونَ ﴿٤٠﴾
عَنِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ ﴿٤١﴾
In Gardens they will ask one another, about criminals (and they will say to them)
meaning, while they are in lofty rooms they will ask the criminals, who will be in the lowest levels (of Hell), saying to them,
" إلا أصحاب اليمين " فإنهم" في جنات يتساءلون عن المجرمين " أي يسألون المجرمين وهم في الغرفات وأولئك في الدركات.
"عن المجرمين" وحالهم ويقولون لهم بعد إخراج الموحدين من النار
أي المشركين
