فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحاً صَرْصَراً فِي أَيَّامٍ نَّحِسَاتٍ لِّنُذِيقَهُمْ
عَذَابَ الْخِزْيِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَخْزَى وَهُمْ
لَا يُنصَرُونَ

Lalle Mũ, Mun aika da iska mai tsananin sauti a kansu, a cikin wani yinin nahĩsa mai dõgħwa.
Asbabu n-Nuzuul (Occasions of Revelation)
So, Allah sent on them,
إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا صَرْصَرًا ...
Verily, We sent against them a violently cold (Sarsar) wind
means, a bitterly cold and furious wind,
... فِي يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ ...
on a day of calamity,
against them, according to Ad-Dahhak, Qatadah and As-Suddi,
... مُّسْتَمِرٍّ ﴿١٩﴾
continuous,
upon them because the calamity, torment and destruction that they suffered in this life on that day continued with that of the Hereafter,
وأنه تعالى أرسل " عليهم ريحا صرصرا " وهي الباردة الشديدة البرد " في يوم نحس " أي عليهم قاله الضحاك وقتادة والسدي " مستمر " عليهم نحسه ودماره لأنه يوم اتصل فيه عذابهم الدنيوي بالأخروي .
"إنا أرسلنا عليهم ريحا صرصرا" أي شديدة الصوت "في يوم نحس" شؤم "مستمر" دائم الشؤم أو قويه وكان يوم الأربعاء آخر الشهر
أي شديدة البرد ; قاله قتادة والضحاك . وقيل : شديدة الصوت . وقد مضى في " حم السجدة " .

«إِنَّا» إن واسمها ، «أَرْسَلْنا» ماض وفاعله «عَلَيْهِمْ» متعلقان بالفعل «رِيحاً» مفعول به «صَرْصَراً» صفة ريحا وجملة أرسلنا .. خبر إن وجملة إنا .. استئنافية لا محل لها «فِي يَوْمِ» متعلقان بأرسلنا «نَحْسٍ» مضاف إليه «مُسْتَمِرٍّ» صفة نحس.
