وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلاً وَنَسِيَ خَلْقَهُ قَالَ مَنْ يُحْيِي الْعِظَامَ وَهِيَ رَمِيمٌ

Wadaraba lana mathalan wanasiya khalqahu qala man yuhyee alAAithama wahiya rameemun

Kuma ya buga Mana wani misãli, kuma ya manta da halittarsa, ya ce: &quotWãne ne ke rãyar da ƙasũsuwa alhãli kuwa sunã rududdugaggu?&quot

And he makes comparisons for Us, and forgets his own (origin and) Creation: He says, "Who can give life to (dry) bones and decomposed ones (at that)?"
And he strikes out a likeness for Us and forgets his own creation. Says he: Who will give life to the bones when they are rotten?
And he hath coined for Us a similitude, and hath forgotten the fact of his creation, saying: Who will revive these bones when they have rotted away?

Asbabu n-Nuzuul (Occasions of Revelation)

(Who will revive these bones when they have rotted away?) [36:78]. The commentators of the Qurメan said: モUbayy ibn Khalaf went to the Prophet, Allah bless him and give him peace, with a decayed bone and said to him: O Muhammad, do you think that Allah will bring back to life this decayed bone?メ He said: Yes, He will, and He will also resurrect you and cast you in hellfireメ. Allah, exalted is He, then revealed these verses (And he hath coined for Us a similitude, and hath forgotten the fact of his creation, saying: Who will revive these bones when they have rotted away?...) [36:78-79]ヤ. Said ibn Muhammad ibn Jafar informed us> Abu Ali ibn Abi Bakr al-Faqih> Ahmad ibn al-Husayn ibn al-Junayd> Ziyad ibn Ayyub> Hushaym> Husayn> Abu Malik who said: モUbayy ibn Khalaf al-Jumahi went to the Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and give him peace, with a decayed bone which he crushed in his hand and then said: O Muhammad, will Allah resurrect this now that it has become dust?メ He said: Yes, Allah will resurrect it; he will also make you die, bring you back to life and then cast you in the fire of Gehennaメ. This verse was then revealedヤ.

Allah says:

وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًا وَنَسِيَ خَلْقَهُ قَالَ مَنْ يُحْيِي الْعِظَامَ وَهِيَ رَمِيمٌ ﴿٧٨﴾

And he puts forth for Us a parable, and forgets his own creation. He says: "Who will give life to these bones after they are rotten and have become dust.''

meaning, he thinks it unlikely that Allah, the Almighty Who created the heavens and the earth, will recreate these bodies and dry bones. Man forgets about himself, that Allah created him from nothing and brought him into existence, and he knows by looking at himself that there is something greater than that which he denies and thinks impossible.

ولهذا قال تعالى : " وضرب لنا مثلا ونسي خلقه قال من يحيي العظام وهي رميم " أي استبعد إعادة الله تعالى ذي القدرة العظيمة التي خلقت السموات والأرض للأجساد والعظام الرميمة ونسي نفسه وأن الله تعالى خلقه من العدم إلى الوجود فعلم من نفسه ما هو أعظم مما استبعده وأنكره وجحده .

"وضرب لنا مثلا" في ذلك "ونسي خلقه" من المني وهو أغرب من مثله "قال من يحيي العظام وهي رميم" أي بالية ولم يقل رميمة بالتاء لأنه اسم لا صفة وروي أنه أخذ عظما رميما ففتته وقال للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : أترى يحيي الله هذا بعد ما بلي ورم ؟ فقال صلى الله عليه وسلم : "نعم ويدخلك النار"

أي ونسي أنا أنشأناه من نطفة ميتة فركبنا فيه الحياة . أي جوابه من نفسه حاضر ; ولهذا قال عليه السلام : ( نعم ويبعثك الله ويدخلك النار ) ففي هذا دليل على صحة القياس ; لأن الله جل وعز احتج على منكري البعث بالنشأة الأولى .

«وَضَرَبَ» الواو حرف عطف ، ضرب ماض وفاعل مستتر تقديره هو والجملة معطوفة على ما قبلها لا محل لها «لَنا» متعلقان بضرب «مَثَلًا» مفعول به «وَنَسِيَ» ماض معطوف على ضرب والجملة لا محل لها «خَلْقَهُ» مفعول به «قالَ» ماض والجملة تفسيرية لا محل لها «مَنْ يُحْيِ» من اسم استفهام مبتدأ ومضارع مرفوع والجملة خبر المبتدأ والجملة الاسمية مقول القول «الْعِظامَ» مفعول به «وَهِيَ» الواو حالية ومبتدأ «رَمِيمٌ» خبر والجملة حال
