Kuma, Muka sanya, a cikinta, kafaffun duwãtsu maɗaukaka, kuma Muka shayar da ku ruwa mai dãɗi?
Asbabu n-Nuzuul (Occasions of Revelation)
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ شَامِخَاتٍ ...
And have placed therein fixed towers,
meaning, the mountains. The earth is held in place with them so that it does not shake and sway.
... وَأَسْقَيْنَاكُم مَّاء فُرَاتًا ﴿٢٧﴾
and have given you Furat water.
meaning, cold and delicious water from the clouds or from what He causes to gush forth from the springs of the earth.
يعني الجبال رسى بها الأرض لئلا تميد وتضطرب" وأسقيناكم ماء فراتا " أي عذبا زلالا من السحاب أو مما أنبعه من عيون الأرض .
"وجعلنا فيها رواسي شامخات" جبالا مرتفعات "وأسقيناكم ماء فراتا" عذبا
" وجعلنا فيها " أي في الأرض " رواسي شامخات " يعني الجبال , والرواسي الثوابت , والشامخات الطوال ; ومنه يقال : شمخ بأنفه إذا رفعه كبرا .

«وَجَعَلْنا» ماض وفاعله و«فِيها» متعلقان بالفعل و«رَواسِيَ» مفعول به و«شامِخاتٍ» صفة والجملة معطوفة على ما قبلها. و«وَأَسْقَيْناكُمْ» ماض وفاعله ومفعوله الأول و«ماءً» مفعول به ثان و«فُراتاً» صفة والجملة معطوفة على ما قبلها
