إِنِّي تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللّهِ رَبِّي وَرَبِّكُم مَّا مِن دَآبَّةٍ إِلاَّ هُوَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهَا إِنَّ رَبِّي عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

"Haƙĩƙa, ni na dõgara ga Allah, Ubangijĩna kuma Ubangijinku. Bãbu wata dabba fãce Shi ne Mai riko ga kwarkwaɗarta.(1) Haƙĩƙa, Ubangijĩna Yanã (kan) tafarki madaidaici."
"I put my trust in Allah, My Lord and your Lord! There is not a moving creature, but He hath grasp of its fore-lock. Verily, it is my Lord that is on a straight Path.
Surely I rely on Allah, my Lord and your Lord; there is no living creature but He holds it by its forelock; surely my Lord is on the right path.
Lo! I have put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Not an animal but He doth grasp it by the forelock! Lo! my Lord is on a straight path.
Asbabu n-Nuzuul (Occasions of Revelation)
إِنِّي تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللّهِ رَبِّي وَرَبِّكُم مَّا مِن دَآبَّةٍ إِلاَّ هُوَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهَا ...
I put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord! There is not a moving creature but He has the grasp of its forelock.
Every creature is under His (Allah's) power and His authority. He is the Best Judge, the Most Just, Who does not do any injustice in His ruling.
... إِنَّ رَبِّي عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ ﴿٥٦﴾
Verily, my Lord is on the straight path (the truth).
For verily, He is upon the straight path. Verily, this argument contains a far-reaching proof and absolute evidence of the truthfulness of what Hud had come to them with.
It also proves the falsehood of them worshipping idols that could not benefit nor harm them. Rather, these idols were inanimate objects that could not hear, see, befriend, or make enmity.
The only One Who is worthy of having worship directed solely towards Him is Allah alone, without any partners. He is the One in Whose Hand is the sovereignty and He is in control of all things. There is nothing except that it is under His ownership, power and authority. Thus, there is no deity worthy of worship except Him and there is no Lord other than Him.
وقوله " إني توكلت على الله ربي وربكم ما من دابة إلا هو آخذ بناصيتها " أي تحت قهره وسلطانه وهو الحاكم العادل الذي لا يجور في حكمه فإنه على صراط مستقيم قال الوليد بن مسلم عن صفوان بن عمرو عن أيفع بن عبد الكلاعي أنه قال في قوله تعالى " ما من دابة إلا هو آخذ بناصيتها إن ربي على صراط مستقيم " قال فيأخذ بنواصي عباده فيلقن المؤمن حتى يكون له أشفق من الوالد لولده ويقول " ما غرك بربك الكريم " وقد تضمن هذا المقام حجة بالغة ودلالة قاطعة على صدق ما جاءهم به وبطلان ما هم عليه من عبادة الأصنام التي لا تنفع ولا تضر بل هي جماد لا تسمع ولا تبصر ولا توالي ولا تعادي وإنما يستحق إخلاص العبادة الله وحده لا شريك له الذي بيده الملك وله التصرف وما من شيء إلا تحت ملكه وقهره وسلطانه فلا إله إلا هو ولا رب سواه .
"إني توكلت على الله ربي وربكم ما من" زائدة "دابة" نسمة تدب على الأرض "إلا هو آخذ بناصيتها" أي مالكها وقاهرها فلا نفع ولا ضرر إلا بإذنه وخص الناصية بالذكر لأن من أخذ بناصيته يكون في غاية الذل "إن ربي على صراط مستقيم" أي طريق الحق والعدل
أي رضيت بحكمه , ووثقت بنصره .

«تَوَكَّلْتُ» ماض وفاعله والجملة خبر.
«عَلَى اللَّهِ» لفظ الجلالة مجرور بعلى متعلقان بتوكلت.
«رَبِّي» بدل والياء مضاف إليه.
«وَرَبِّكُمْ» معطوف على ما قبله.
«ما» نافية.
«مِنْ دَابَّةٍ» من حرف جر زائد ودابة مبتدأ مجرور لفظا مرفوع محلا.
«إِلَّا» أداة حصر.
«هُوَ آخِذٌ» مبتدأ وخبر والجملة خبر دابة.
«بِناصِيَتِها» متعلقان بآخذ والها مضاف إليه.
«إِنَّ رَبِّي» إن واسمها والياء مضاف إليه والجملة مستأنفة.
«عَلى صِراطٍ» متعلقان بالخبر المحذوف.
«مُسْتَقِيمٍ» صفة.
