فَخُذْ مَا آتَيْتُكَ وَكُن مِّنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ

Kuma ka ambaci Mũsã a cikin Littãfi. Lalle ne shi, yã kasance zãɓaɓɓe, kuma yã kasance Manzo, Annabi.
Also mention in the Book (the story of) Moses: for he was specially chosen, and he was a messenger (and) a prophet.
And mention Musa in the Book; surely he was one purified, and he was a messenger, a prophet.
And make mention in the Scripture of Moses. Lo! he was chosen, and he was a messenger (of Allah), a prophet.

Mentioning Musa and Harun
After Allah had mentioned Ibrahim, the Friend of Allah, and commended him, he next mentioned Al-Kalim (the one spoken to by Allah directly).
Allah said,
وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ مُوسَى إِنَّهُ كَانَ مُخْلَصًا ...
And mention in the Book, Musa. Verily, he was Mukhlasan,
Ath-Thawri reported from Abdul-Aziz bin Rafi`, from Abu Lubabah that he said,
"The Disciples (of `Isa) said, `O Spirit of Allah, inform us about the one who is Mukhlis (purely devoted) to Allah.'
He said, `That is one who does a deed solely for Allah and he does not like for the people to praise him.'''
Others recited the word as Mukhlas,
which means that he was chosen.
This is as Allah says,
إِنْى اصْطَفَيْتُكَ عَلَى النَّاسِ
Verily, I have chosen you above men. (7:144)
Concerning Allah's statement,
... وَكَانَ رَسُولًا نَّبِيًّا ﴿٥١﴾
and he was a Messenger, (and) a Prophet.
Allah combined these two descriptions for him. For verily, he was one of the greatest Messengers and one of the five Messengers of Strong Will. They are;
Nuh,
Ibrahim,
Musa,
`Isa and
Muhammad.
May the blessings of Allah be upon them and all of the Prophets.
لما ذكر تعالى إبراهيم الخليل وأثنى عليه عطف بذكر الكليم فقال " واذكر في الكتاب موسى إنه كان مخلصا " قرأ بعضهم بكسر اللام من الإخلاص في العبادة قال الثوري عن عبد العزيز بن رفيع عن أبي لبابة قال : قال الحواريون يا روح الله أخبرنا عن المخلص لله قال الذي يعمل لله لا يحب أن يحمده الناس وقرأ الآخرون بفتحها بمعنى أنه كان مصطفى كما قال تعالى " إني اصطفيتك على الناس " " وكان رسولا نبيا " جمع الله له بين الوصفين فإنه كان من المرسلين الكبار أولي العزم الخمسة وهم نوح وإبراهيم وموسى وعيسى ومحمد صلوات الله وسلامه عليهم وعلى سائر الأنبياء أجمعين .
"واذكر في الكتاب موسى إنه كان مخلصا" بكسر اللام وفتحها من أخلص في عبادته وخلصه الله من الدنس
أي واقرأ عليهم من القرآن قصة موسى .

«وَاذْكُرْ» الواو استئنافية وأمر فاعله مستتر والجملة مستأنفة «فِي الْكِتابِ» متعلقان باذكر «مُوسى » مفعول به منصوب بالفتحة المقدرة على الألف للتعذر «إِنَّهُ» إن واسمها والجملة تعليلية لا محل لها «كانَ» الواو عاطفة وماض ناقص «مُخْلَصاً» خبر كان والجملة خبر إنّ «وَكانَ» حرف عطف وماض ناقص اسمه محذوف والجملة معطوفة «رَسُولًا نَبِيًّا» خبران لكان
