اللّهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَمَا اللّهُ يُرِيدُ ظُلْماً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ

مِثْلَ دَأْبِ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ وَالَّذِينَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ وَمَا اللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ظُلْماً لِّلْعِبَادِ
Mithla dabi qawmi noohin waAAadin wathamooda waallatheena min baAAdihim wama Allahu yureedu thulman lilAAibadi

"Kwatankwacin al´adar mutãnen Nũhu da Ãdãwa da Samũdãwa da waɗanda ke a bãyansu. Kuma Allah bã Ya nufin zãlunci ga bãyinSa."
"Something like the fate of the People of Noah, the 'Ad, and the Thamud, and those who came after them: but Allah never wishes injustice to his Servants.
The like of what befell the people of Nuh and Ad and Samood and those after them, and Allah does not desire injustice for (His) servants;
A plight like that of Noah's folk, and A'ad and Thamud, and those after them, and Allah willeth no injustice for (His) slaves.
Asbabu n-Nuzuul (Occasions of Revelation)
مِثْلَ دَأْبِ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ وَالَّذِينَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ ...
"Like the end of the people of Nuh, and `Ad, and Thamud and those who came after them.
meaning, those of the earlier nations who disbelieved the Messengers of Allah, such as the people of Nuh, `Ad, Thamud and the disbelieving nations who came after them, how the punishment of Allah came upon them and they had no one to protect them or ward off that punishment.
... وَمَا اللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ظُلْمًا لِّلْعِبَادِ ﴿٣١﴾
And Allah wills no injustice for (His) servants.
means, Allah destroyed them for their sins and for their disbelief in and rejection of His Messengers;
this was His command and His decree concerning them that was fulfilled.
أي الذين كذبوا رسل الله في قديم الدهر كقوم نوح وعاد وثمود والذين من بعدهم من الأمم المكذبة كيف حل بهم بأس الله وما رده عنهم راد ولا صده عنهم صاد " وما الله يريد ظلما للعباد" أي إنما أهلكهم الله تعالى بذنوبهم وتكذيبهم رسله ومخالفتهم أمره فأنفذ فيهم قدره .
"مثل دأب قوم نوح وعاد وثمود والذين من بعدهم" مثل بدل من مثل قبله أي مثل جزاء عادة من كفر قبلكم من تعذيبهم في الدنيا

«مِثْلَ» بدل من مثل الأولى «دَأْبِ» مضاف إليه «قَوْمِ» مضاف إليه «نُوحٍ» مضاف إليه «وَعادٍ وَثَمُودَ وَالَّذِينَ» عطف على ما قبله «مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ» جار ومجرور صلة الذين «وَمَا» الواو حالية وما نافية تعمل عمل ليس «اللَّهُ» لفظ الجلالة اسمها «يُرِيدُ» مضارع فاعله مستتر والجملة خبر ما والجملة الاسمية حال «ظُلْماً» مفعول به
«لِلْعِبادِ» متعلقان بظلما
