"Lalle mãsu cĩ ne daga wata itãciya ta zaƙƙum (ɗanyen wutã)."
Asbabu n-Nuzuul (Occasions of Revelation)
Allah said,
ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ أَيُّهَا الضَّالُّونَ الْمُكَذِّبُونَ ﴿٥١﴾
لَآكِلُونَ مِن شَجَرٍ مِّن زَقُّومٍ ﴿٥٢﴾
فَمَالِؤُونَ مِنْهَا الْبُطُونَ ﴿٥٣﴾
Then verily, --- you the erring-ones, the deniers! You verily, will eat of the trees of Zaqqum. Then you will fill your bellies therewith.
indicating that they will be seized and made to eat from the Zaqqum tree until their stomachs become full,
" ثم إنكم أيها الضالون المكذبون لآكلون من شجر من زقوم فمالئون منها البطون " وذلك أنهم يقبضون ويسجرون حتى يأكلوا من شجر الزقوم حتى يملئوا منها بطونهم .
"لآكلون من شجر من زقوم" بيان للشجر
وهو شجر كريه المنظر , كريه الطعم , وهي التي ذكرت في سورة " والصافات " .

«لَآكِلُونَ» اللام المزحلقة وآكلون خبر إن «مِنْ شَجَرٍ» متعلقان بآكلون «مِنْ زَقُّومٍ» بدل مما قبله وجملة إنكم معطوفة على ما قبلها.
