اصْلَوْهَا فَاصْبِرُوا
أَوْ لَا تَصْبِرُوا سَوَاء عَلَيْكُمْ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا الْيَوْمَ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Ya ayyuha allatheena kafaroo la taAAtathiroo alyawma innama tujzawna ma kuntum taAAmaloona

Yã kũ waɗanda suka kãfirta(4) ! Kada ku kãwo wani uzuri a yau. Anã yi muku sakamakon abin da kuka kasance kunã aikatãwa kawai ne.
(They will say), "O ye Unbelievers! Make no excuses this Day! Ye are being but requited for all that ye did!"
O you who disbelieve! do not urge excuses today; you shall be rewarded only according to what you did.
(Then it will be said): O ye who disbelieve! Make no excuses for yourselves this day. Ye are only being paid for what ye used to do.

No Excuse will be accepted from the Disbeliever on the Day of Resurrection
Allah said,
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا الْيَوْمَ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿٧﴾
O you who disbelieve!
Make no excuses this Day! You are being requited only for what you used to do.
meaning, on the Day of Resurrection, the disbeliever will be told,
"Do not offer any excuse this Day, because it will not be accepted from you; you will only be recompensed for what you used to do. Today, you will receive the punishment for your actions.''
وقوله " يا أيها الذين كفروا لا تعتذروا اليوم إنما تجزون ما كنتم تعملون " أي يقال للكفرة يوم القيامة لا تعتذروا فإنه لا يقبل منكم ولا تجزون إلا ما كنتم تعملون وإنما تجزون اليوم بأعمالكم .
"يا أيها الذين كفروا لا تعتذروا اليوم" يقال لهم ذلك عند دخولهم النار أي لأنه لا ينفعكم "إنما تجزون ما كنتم تعملون" أي جزاءه
فإن عذركم لا ينفع . وهذا النهي لتحقيق اليأس .

«يا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ»
سبق إعرابها «كَفَرُوا» ماض وفاعله والجملة صلة الذين «لا تَعْتَذِرُوا» مضارع مجزوم بلا الناهية والواو فاعله والجملة مقول قول محذوف. «الْيَوْمَ» ظرف زمان «إِنَّما» كافة ومكفوفة «تُجْزَوْنَ» مضارع مبني للمجهول والواو نائب فاعل «ما» مفعول به ثان «كُنْتُمْ» كان واسمها والجملة صلة «تَعْمَلُونَ» مضارع مرفوع والواو فاعله والجملة خبر كنتم.
