وَبَدَا لَهُمْ سَيِّئَاتُ مَا كَسَبُوا وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا بِهِ

فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ زُلْفَةً سِيئَتْ وُجُوهُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَقِيلَ هَذَا الَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِ تَدَّعُونَ

To, lokacin da suka gan ta (azãbar) a kusa, fuskokin waɗanda suka kãfirta suka mũnana, kuma aka ce (musu) wannan shi ne abin da kuka zamo kuna ƙaryatãwa.
At length, when they see it close at hand, grieved will be the faces of the Unbelievers, and it will be said (to them): "This is (the promise fulfilled), which ye were calling for!"
But when they shall see it nigh, the faces of those who disbelieve shall be sorry, and it shall be said; This is that which you used to call for.
But when they see it nigh, the faces of those who disbelieve will be awry, and it will be said (unto them): This is that for which ye used to call.

Then Allah says,
فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ زُلْفَةً سِيئَتْ وُجُوهُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ...
But when they will see it approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be sad and grievous.
means, when the Day of Judgement begins, and the disbelievers witness it, and they see that the matter has drawn close, because everything that is to occur will occur, even if it takes a long time. So, when what they denied occurs, it will grieve them because they will know what is awaiting them there (in Hell) of the worst evil.
This means that it will surround them and Allah will command what they were not able to reckon or fully comprehend to come to them.
وَلَوْ أَنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مَا فِى الاٌّرْضِ جَمِيعاً وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ لاَفْتَدَوْاْ بِهِ مِن سُوءِ الْعَذَابِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَـمَةِ وَبَدَا لَهُمْ مِّنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يَكُونُواْ يَحْتَسِبُونَ
وَبَدَا لَهُمْ سَيِّئَاتُ مَا كَـسَبُواْ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
and there will become apparent to them from Allah what they had not been reckoning. And the evils of that which they earned will become apparent to them, and that which they used to mock at will encircle them. (39:47,48)
This is why it will be said to them in order to scold and reprimand them,
... وَقِيلَ هَذَا الَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِ تَدَّعُونَ ﴿٢٧﴾
This is what you were calling for!
meaning, that you were seeking to hasten.
قال الله تعالى " فلما رأوه زلفة سيئت وجوه الذين كفروا " أي لما قامت القيامة وشاهدها الكفار ورأوا أن الأمر كان قريبا لأن كل ما هو آت آت وإن طال زمنه فلما وقع ما كذبوا به ساءهم ذلك لما يعلمون ما لهم هناك من الشر أي فأحاط بهم ذلك وجاءهم من أمر الله ما لم يكن لهم في بال ولا حساب " وبدا لهم من الله ما لم يكونوا يحتسبون وبدا لهم سيئات ما عملوا وحاق بهم ما كانوا به يستهزئون" ولهذا يقال لهم على وجه التقريع والتوبيخ " هذا الذي كنتم به تدعون " أي تستعجلون .
"فلما رأوه" أي العذاب بعد الحشر "زلفة" قريبا "سيئت" اسودت "وجوه الذين كفروا وقيل" أي قال الخزنة لهم "هذا" أي العذاب "الذي كنتم به" بإنذاره "تدعون" أنكم لا تبعثون وهذه حكاية حال تأتي عبر عنها بطريق المضي لتحقق وقوعها
مصدر بمعنى مزدلفا أي قريبا ; قال مجاهد . الحسن عيانا . وأكثر المفسرين على أن المعنى : فلما رأوه يعني العذاب , وهو عذاب الآخرة . وقال مجاهد : يعني عذاب بدر . وقيل : أي رأوا ما وعدوا من الحشر قريبا منهم . ودل عليه " تحشرون " . وقال ابن عباس : لما رأوا عملهم السيئ قريبا .

محل جر بالإضافة «زُلْفَةً» حال «سِيئَتْ» ماض مبني للمجهول «وُجُوهُ» نائب فاعل والجملة جواب الشرط لا محل لها «الَّذِينَ» مضاف إليه «كَفَرُوا» ماض وفاعله والجملة صلة «وَقِيلَ» الواو حرف عطف وماض مبني للمجهول «هذَا الَّذِي» مبتدأ وخبره والجملة الاسمية مقول القول «كُنْتُمْ» كان واسمها «بِهِ» متعلقان بتدعون «تَدَّعُونَ» مضارع مرفوع والواو فاعله والجملة خبر كنتم وجملة كنتم ..
