إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ يَا أَبَتِ
لِمَ تَعْبُدُ مَا لَا يَسْمَعُ وَلَا يُبْصِرُ وَلَا يُغْنِي عَنكَ شَيْئاً

قُلْ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ قُلِ اللّهُ يَهْدِي لِلْحَقِّ أَفَمَن يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ أَحَقُّ أَن يُتَّبَعَ أَمَّن لاَّ يَهِدِّيَ إِلاَّ أَن يُهْدَى فَمَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ
Qul hal min shurakaikum man yahdee ila alhaqqi quli Allahu yahdee lilhaqqi afaman yahdee ila alhaqqi ahaqqu an yuttabaAAa amman la yahiddee illa an yuhda fama lakum kayfa tahkumoona

Ka ce: "Shin, daga abũbuwan shirkinku akwai wanda yake shiryarwa zuwa ga gaskiya?" Ka ce: "Allah ne Yake shiryarwa zuwa ga gaskiya. Shin fa, wanda Yake shiryarwa ne mafi cancantar a bi Shi, ko kuwa wanda bã ya shiryarwa fãce dai a shiryar da shi? To, mħne ne a gare ku? Yãya kuke yin hukunci?"
Say: "Of your 'partners' is there any that can give any guidance towards truth?" Say: "It is Allah Who gives guidance towards truth, is then He Who gives guidance to truth more worthy to be followed, or he who finds not guidance (himself) unless he is guided? what then is the matter with you? How judge ye?"
Say: Is there any of your associates who guides to the truth? Say: Allah guides to the truth. Is He then Who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed, or he who himself does not go aright unless he is guided? What then is the matter with you; how do you judge?
Say: Is there of your partners (whom ye ascribe unto Allah) one that leadeth to the Truth? Say: Allah leadeth to the Truth. Is He Who leadeth to the Truth more deserving that He should be followed, or he who findeth not the way unless he (himself) be guided. What aileth you? How judge ye?
Asbabu n-Nuzuul (Occasions of Revelation)
قُلْ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ قُلِ اللّهُ يَهْدِي لِلْحَقِّ ...
Say: "Is there of your partners one that guides to the truth!''
Say: "It is Allah who guides to the truth...''
You know that your deities are incapable of guiding those who are astray. It is Allah alone Who guides the misled and confused ones and turns the hearts from the wrong path to the right path. It is Allah, none has the right to be worshipped but He.
... أَفَمَن يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ أَحَقُّ أَن يُتَّبَعَ أَمَّن لاَّ يَهِدِّيَ إِلاَّ أَن يُهْدَى ...
Is then He Who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed, or he who finds not guidance (himself) unless he is guided!
Will the servant then follow the one who guides to the truth so that he may see after he was blind, or follow one who doesn't guide to anything except towards blindness and muteness Allah said that Ibrahim said:
يأَبَتِ لِمَ تَعْبُدُ مَا لاَ يَسْمَعُ وَلاَ يَبْصِرُ وَلاَ يُغْنِى عَنكَ شَيْئاً
O my father! Why do you worship that which hears not, sees not and cannot avail you in anything! (19:42)
And said to his people
قَالَ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مَا تَنْحِتُونَ
وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve While Allah has created you and what you make! (37: 95-96)
Also, there are many Ayat in this regard.
Allah then said:
... فَمَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ ﴿٣٥﴾
Then, what is the matter with you! How judge you!
What is the matter with you! What has happened to your mind! How did you make Allah's creatures equal to Him! What kind of judgement did you make to turn away from Allah and worship this or that! Why did you not worship the Lord -- Glorified be He, the True King, the Judge and the One Who guides to the truth! Why didn't you call upon Him alone and turn towards Him!
" قل هل من شركائكم من يهدي إلى الحق قل الله يهدي للحق " أي أنتم تعلمون أن شركاءكم لا تقدر على هداية ضال وإنما يهدي الحيارى والضلال ويقلب القلوب من الغي إلى الرشد الله الذي لا إله إلا هو " أفمن يهدي إلى الحق أحق أن يتبع أمن لا يهدي إلا أن يهدى " أي أفيتبع العبد الذي يهدي إلى الحق ويبصر بعد العمى أم الذي لا يهدي إلى شيء إلا أن يهدى لعماه وبكمه كما قال تعالى إخبارا عن إبراهيم أنه قال " يا أبت لم تعبد ما لا يسمع ولا يبصر ولا يغني عنك شيئا " وقال لقومه " أتعبدون ما تنحتون والله خلقكم وما تعملون " إلى غير ذلك من الآيات وقوله " فما لكم كيف تحكمون " أي ما بالكم أن يذهب بعقولكم كيف سويتم بين الله وبين خلقه وعدلتم هذا بهذا وعبدتم هذا وهذا ؟ وهلا أفردتم الرب جل جلاله المالك الحاكم الهادي من الضلالة بالعبادة وحده وأخلصتم إليه الدعوة والإنابة ؟ .
"قل هل من شركائكم من يهدي إلى الحق" بنصب الحجج وخلق الاهتداء "قل الله يهدي للحق أفمن يهدي إلى الحق" وهو الله "أحق أن يتبع أمن لا يهدي" يهتدي "إلا أن يهدى" أحق أن يتبع ؟ استفهام تقرير وتوبيخ أي الأول أحق "فما لكم كيف تحكمون" هذا الحكم الفاسد من اتباع ما لا يحق اتباعه
يقال : هداه للطريق وإلى الطريق بمعنى واحد ; وقد تقدم . أي هل من شركائكم من يرشد إلى دين الإسلام ; فإذا قالوا لا ولا بد منه
I'raab - grammatical analysis of the Qur'an
«قُلْ هَلْ مِنْ شُرَكائِكُمْ مَنْ» سبق إعرابها قريبا.
«يَهْدِي» مضارع مرفوع بالضمة المقدرة على الياء للثقل والفاعل مستتر.
«إِلَى الْحَقِّ» متعلقان بيهدي والجملة خبر من والكلام مقول القول.
«قُلْ» أمر فاعله مستتر والجملة مستأنفة.
«اللَّهُ» لفظ الجلالة مبتدأ والجملة مقول القول.
«يَهْدِي» مضارع مرفوع بالضمة المقدرة على الياء للثقل.
«لِلْحَقِّ» متعلقان بيهدي.
«أَفَمَنْ» الهمزة للاستفهام والفاء استئنافية ومن اسم موصول مبتدأ والجملة مستأنفة.
